Sara Kozumplik is a US 5 star event rider and Grand Prix show jumper who has developed numerous horses to the highest level of Eventing since she was 18. She also runs a successful equestrian business through Overlook Farm North based in Virginia, and Overlook South based in Florida.

In addition to this, she is a US Eventing certified coach who trains and develops young riders and adult amateurs. She has also coached Venezuela, Panama, and Barbados at the Bolivarian and Central American Games. In 2014 her students qualified their home country of Venezuela for the Pan American Games in Eventing with 3 leased horses that she sourced. Sara’s commitment to excellence is apparent when anyone spends time around her team, with horsemanship and fairness in sport valued above anything else.

She continues to find new ways to support the growth of the equestrian community which has most recently included mentoring not only international riders to reach their goals, but by being involved in several committees and scholarships within US Eventing and US Equestrian to grow and diversify the sport worldwide. She also enjoys working with venues, most notably the development from the ground up of TerraNova Equestrian Center, and on committees and boards for The Kentucky Horse Park, Morven Park International, Bromont International, and Millbrook Horse Trials.

Her success and reputation for getting things done have solidified her position as a highly regarded member of the equestrian community.
